O Lord, our God, unwearied is your love for us

The Church throughout the world, in one language or another sings these words every Monday night at Compline, unwearied is your love for us, proclaiming week after week that God's Love is forever. This has been a hard, an impossible, an unrelenting year. But, has God's love come to an end? Hope is still an option for us, even if the past year seems bleak and the future uncertain. The prophet Isaiah once proclaimed: A people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. What God has begun for us, in the great Mystery of the Incarnation God will bring to completion. Let us welcome that light into our hearts during this holy season of expectation. Let us remember to hope.
